5th Annual Hickory Stick Golf Tournament – April 25
If you’re into golf, Excelsior Springs has one of the oldest courses west of the Mississippi, built in 1915. It’s the site of the annual Hickory Stick Golf Tournament. Demonstration will be Saturday morning at 9 a.m., defending Hickory Golf Champion Randy Jensen will be giving a demonstration on the use of hickory clubs on the driving range. The first 25 couples who sign up for the Hickory Golf Tournament will enjoy a sponsored dinner with the Mayor.
Haig Golf Outing Set for June 18th! Lower Entry Fee, Cash Prizes
Currently entering its 8th year, The Haig will be held at Elmbrook Golf Course in Traverse City on Friday, June 18, with a shotgun start at. 1 pm. Participants play in a scramble format with traditional “hickory sticks”.
